Session 3: The Four Horsemen

I. The Throne Room & Dominion of the Earth

The basic time line of the earths dominion

  1. The Father gives all dominion to Adam [biblegateway passage=”Genesis 1:26-28″]
  2. Adam surrenders all dominion and gives authority to satan [biblegateway passage=”Genesis 3″]
  3. Satan offers Jesus all the kingdoms of the earth [biblegateway passage=”Luke 4:5-7″]
  4. The nations are Jesus Inheritance. [biblegateway passage=”Psalm 2:7-9″]
  5. Jesus receives the scroll from the Father [biblegateway passage=”Revelation 5:8-14″]
  6. Jesus physically takes the earth as his possession [biblegateway passage=”Revelation 11:15-19″]
  7. Jesus plan to heal the nations comes back to the Tree of Life [biblegateway passage=”Revelation 22″] [biblegateway passage=”Ezekiel 47:7-12″]

II. The Seven Seals

It’s important to note that Jesus is releasing the seal judgments. The judgements do not come from satan nor does satan have the power and authority to release the judgments.

The 21 judgement events are against a world wide worship and economic system (The Harlot)

[biblegateway passage=”Revelation 19:2″]
“For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication;

[biblegateway passage=”Revelation 19:7″]
“Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready.

The 4 horsemen Revelation 6:1-8

We must understand that it is Jesus who releases the Antichrist. Satan does not have the authority to put anyone in power, he only desires to control those who have places of influence. This is one of the most offensive concepts in the Bible. That God would put men in power and leadership who carry out evil deeds.

Matthew 24:3-8 Jesus describes the four horsemen and beckons us not to be troubled. In this chapter we are being clued in on more details of what is later revealed in the book of Revelation chapter 6

Zechariah 6 The Four Horse Chariots

Matthew 24:3-5  –  Revelation 6:1-2 Antichrist
Matthew 24:6-7  –  Revelation 6:3-4 War

  • Each of the first four judgements include the statement “Come and see”. This was an invitation for john to see and understand the vision. We can take this as a personal invitation to understand the scriptures and all the details given to us on this topic by the Holy Spirit.
  • The first four judgements are natural, meaning they can happen without any supernatural activity. In essence God is lifting his hand and allow men to suffer the consequences of their own foolishness.

Seal 1: The rider on the white horse that is crowned and conquering
We must understand that it is Jesus who releases the Antichrist. Satan does not have the authority to put anyone in power, he only desires to control those who have places of influence. This is one of the most offensive concepts in the Bible. That God would put men in power and leadership who carry out evil deeds.
Habakkuk 1

Antichrist – The counterfeit Jesus.  Jesus will also come on a white horse but with the sword of his mouth. Jesus announces his coming with a procession (Every Eye will see him.) The Antichrist will come quickly from seemly nowhere and will suddenly have power. We will unmistakably know who he is because of the great falling away and the Abomination of Desolation.

[biblegateway passage=”Daniel 9:27″] – Abomination of Desolation
[biblegateway passage=”Daniel 7″] – Describes the Antichrist
[biblegateway passage=”2 Thessalonians 2:3″]
Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin[a] is revealed, the son of perdition,

We know from this verse. The man of sin comes first. Jesus comes after. Jesus is not coming any minute.

Seal 2: Red Horse and World war

Zechariah 1:8
The horses serve multiple purposes throughout the bible. Each horse can signify many things. Each horse and its rider have the spiritual authority to lose and to bind principalities.

This will be a result of the Antichrist rise in power. He will attempt to destroy any nation that stands against him. This will create massive conflict in the nations as many will clamor for him to be in power but some will resist him. He will be “Like a beast” You will not be able to reason with him. There will be no place for diplomacy.

Seal 3: Black horse with scales Famine

A nation is weakest when it is in poverty. Because of the lack of money there will be a lack of resource. People will work long hours with little to no excess time. Because of this, it will be exceedingly difficult to change your living condition. These conditions make it easy for a Government to control a people and a nation. The citizens lack the resource, time and energy to revolt or rebel. Many will live under the threat of losing what little they have, if they do not comply to the laws of the land. This will create fertile ground for corrupt leaders to oppress the lower class for capital gain. Wicked leaders will be drunk on power and wealth.

This will be a result of  the war of in the second seal. There will be an economic crisis where many will not be able to afford everyday items like food and water.

“A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; and do not harm the oil and the wine.”

In ancient times a single denarius could purchase 8 quarts of wheat. The economic power will be so low that you could not buy  a single quart of wheat for a denarius. It will take 3 denarius to buy a single quart of wheat. This is to illustration exactly how poor the economic situation will be globally.

Wheat is a superior grain in taste and quality but it will be less accessible to many, barley is inferior to wheat but will be more accessible to the masses. The oil and the wine represent the portion of the upper class that will not be touched by the famine and the economic crisis. This will cause civil strife among the nations.

Seal 4: Pale horse – Death and Pestilence

This will be the result of the 3rd seal. The economic crisis and famine will make it difficult for people to gain access to proper nutrients, rations and medical attention the famine will create discord between men. Animals will come from there habitats and take greater risks to find food. There are 4 specific pieces to the 4th seal.

  1. Men will kill with sword
  2. Men will die by hunger
  3. Men will die by death (Sin)
  4. Men will die by beasts of the Earth See also:

This particular judgement appears multiple times in scripture. The reason these terms are repeated through scripture is because their significance.

[biblegateway passage=”Jeremiah 15:2-3″]
“And I will appoint over them four forms of destruction,” says the Lord: “the sword to slay, the dogs to drag, the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy.

Revelation 1

Prologue

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants[a] the things that must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant[b] John, [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 2:28-29″] who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.

Greeting to the Seven Churches

John to the seven churches that are in Asia:

Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, [biblegateway passage=”Isaiah 11:2″] and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood [biblegateway passage=”Genesis 49:11″]; [biblegateway passage=”Psalm 89:27″]

and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. [biblegateway passage=”Exodus 19:6″]; [biblegateway passage=”Isaiah 61:6″]Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail[c] on account of him. Even so. Amen. [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 7:13″] ; [biblegateway passage=”Zechariah 12:10-14″]

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” [biblegateway passage=”Isaiah 41:4″]

Vision of the Son of Man

I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet 11 saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”

12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, [biblegateway passage=”Exodus 25:37 “]; [biblegateway passage=”Exodus 37:23”] 13 and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 7:13″] ; [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 10:5″], [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 16″] 14 The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 7:9″]; [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 10:6″] 15 his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters. [biblegateway passage=”Ezekiel 1:7″] [biblegateway passage=”Ezekiel 1:24″] [biblegateway passage=”Ezekiel 43:2″] [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 10:6″] 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength. [biblegateway passage=”Judges 5:31″]; [biblegateway passage=”Isaiah 49:2″]

17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, [biblegateway passage=”Isaiah 41:4″]; [biblegateway passage=”Isaiah 44:6″]; [biblegateway passage=”Isaiah 48:12″]; [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 8:17-18″]; [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 10:9-10″]; [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 10:12″]; [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 10:15″]; [biblegateway passage=”Daniel 10:19″] 18 and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. 19 Write therefore the things that you have seen, those that are and those that are to take place after this. 20 As for the mystery of the seven stars that you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands, the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.

[biblegateway passage=”Job 3:17″]; [biblegateway passage=”Hosea 13:14″]
